Term 1 2022 and Bees 4 Pre’s has liftoff! Thanks to all the preschools who participated in the Bees 4 Pre’s workshop this term. It has been a lot of fun growing this program thanks to your feedback and enthusiasm. The program is packed full of activities such as pollinating oversized flowers, bee snap using magnetised cards matched to the bee poster (shout out the Gina Cranston for the beautiful artwork), loads of insects in resin to look at with a magnifying glass, big pat-able bee models and puppets, and of course building a bee hotel – preschool style (fitting the pieces together with a small hammer). We also have wonderful bee themed kaleidoscopes, brilliantly vibrant bee puzzles, a super-sized book to explain native bees and loads more.
Every preschool receives insect hotels to keep too meaning you can continue to support bees and nurture bee enthusiasts long after we have buzzed off!
